Newmarket residents, have you noticed a strong chlorine odor coming from your tap water every time you washed dishes or showered?

The Town of Newmarket is performing a “free chlorination” project. Phase 1 was completed, phase 2 just started last weekend, and phase 3 is coming soon to a neighbourhood near you. Each phase/region will have their drinking water shocked with chlorine to clean out the aging pipes!  The projects each last 6-8 weeks.
